COPPA Compliance Notice

NOTICE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

The Sparkles Method serves dancers of all ages, including children under the age of 13. This notice explains our practices regarding the collection and use of personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Child's first and last name — to personalize their platform experience
• Parent or guardian's email address — for account communications and parental oversight

We do NOT collect: phone numbers, physical addresses, social security numbers, financial information, or any sensitive personal information from children under 13.

We require verifiable parental consent before creating an account for any child under 13. Consent is obtained through our Parental Consent Form which must be completed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian before the child's account is activated. A parent or guardian may not create an account for a child under 13 without completing this process.

As a parent or guardian of a child under 13 using The Sparkles Method, you have the right to:

• Review the personal information collected from your child at any time
• Request correction of any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your child's personal information and account
• Revoke your consent and discontinue your child's participation at any time
• Refuse to allow further collection or use of your child's information

Information collected from children under 13 is used solely to:

• Create and maintain their membership account
• Deliver age-appropriate lesson content
• Communicate membership-related information to the parent's email address

We do NOT use children's information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond delivering the educational service the parent has enrolled them in.

We do not share, sell, or disclose personal information of children under 13 to any third party except as strictly necessary to provide our service (e.g., Kajabi for platform hosting). All third-party service providers are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of children's information.

We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information of all members, including children under 13, from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. All data is transmitted via secure HTTPS connections.
