My story
Training that took me to the biggest stages in the world
I've been dancing since I was three years old. Growing up in Collierville, Tennessee, I trained in contemporary, ballet, and hip hop — and fell completely in love with every style. Dance wasn't just something I did. It was everything.
That passion took me to Los Angeles and eventually onto some of the most iconic stages in the world. I competed on So You Think You Can Dance Season 16, finishing in the Top 4. I performed at the Grammy Awards and the VMAs — twice — under the direction of Fatima Robinson. I danced at Madison Square Garden as a Knicks City Dancer. I've worked alongside legends like Mandy Moore, Jaquel Knight, Laurieann Gibson, Sean Bankhead, and Travis Payne.
But here's what I kept thinking the whole time: the training that got me to those stages shouldn't be locked behind expensive private studio rates or limited to whatever city you happen to live in. Every dancer — no matter where they are — deserves access to real, professional-level coaching.
